Continuation...... 9.Pedagogical development requires complete revamping 10.Make CAT ? XAT as the ONLY two examinations relevant or create a body to conduct ONE common exam. 11.Quality control mechanism at National level to be brought in. 12.Create a national level management pool with grading and UPSC should undertake the task for identifying managerial requirements for Public sector enterprises at entry level or by BPE.

As a continuation of my earlier comments..... Wean away from 2 marks / 5 marks system of evaluation 5.Concept testing and application orientation required 6.Emphasis to work with an Industry for atleast 3 months like an apprentice to sensitise 7.Make it mandatory to be with NGOs in Rural areas preferably for a month 8.Faculty should necessarily have Experience with Industry for not less than 10 years

Liberate the Management education from the governance by Technical or General purpose universities. Like other professional education for Agriculture, Engineering, Medical and maritime, it requires unique identity and it would benefit in the following ways: 1.Academic and Industry culture sync 2.Course content formulation and learning outcome as expected by Industry. 3.Content delivery mechanism/ learning process for desirable outcome 4.Revamp evaluation based on learning outcome

Mba and other post graduate couses should be according to latest industry needs our education system teaches our students practices which are age old policies and practices this can be done by revamping the course structure by introducing 1 year of industrial exposure including 3 months of exposure to our traditional produces like khadi agriculture cottage industries and handicrafts in our villages and increasing duration of all post graduate courses by a minimum of 6 months from 2 to 3 years

today its very difficult to get a job after your graduation. everywhere they ask for experience why not make a provision like in medical field, 6-12 months compulsory fieldwork. 1 student get good exposure to industry 2.he can show this as work experience after he finish his degree which they ask in all the cases. 3.industry get ppl to work for lesser price 4.industry if want to absorb those student who is working would save quite a money on his/her training 5.build confidence in student

At present, the quality of the faculty recruited merely on the basis of NET or PhD without any practical experience is extremely poor. NET qualification or PhD on a particular topic can not infuse basis practical knowledge to the faculty members, who are engaged to teach students, at MBA/PGDM level, about corporate functioning/culture/problems/ exposure/ requirements and managerial skill. Structure may be taken as enumerated in the next post.

It is ridiculous that Industrial experience/expertise has no weight-age towards shaping the career of those who are being processed to meet Industrial need/requirement. Professional Studies must be made out of the clutch of so-called expert like NET Qualified or PhD holder. Industrial experience of Public Sector and Public Limited companies must be recognized equivalent to PhD at the entry points as Asst. Professor, Asso. Professor, Professor, Dean, Director as per their Industrial experience.
