Today's Engineering faculty also needs to align with the industry updates which is restricted by a myopic syllabi. private Universities do claim upgraded syllabi but their utility is a big question mark as the majority of output doesn't fulfill industry requirements. So bridge this gap aspects should be more practically feasible & objective than theoretical & subjective.

The current syllabi is outdated & highly theoretical. Students unable to get practical exam results end up doing hi fi projects & their utility in the industry starts from scratch. To bridge this gap industry approved syllabi & practical oriented assessment is the key. Academia has a different perspective but with industry interface & assessment this will bring a new thought process for understanding & implementing concepts.

In Gujarat at least there is a system where students feel more comfortable studying in tuitions rather than school. The importance of a school is totally lost. The idea is not to bring the importance of school back but its just that this system ruins the working schedule of a student. 8 hours of tuitions a day and and the preparing rest of the day for the competetives, a semester board exam every 4 mnths and then college admission pressure. This is not the way a 17 year old can be with his career

There are so many top class institutes in India. Namely the IITs, IIMs and Architecture colleges that rank outstandingly at the top but what lags behind in the whole system is the way to reach over there. The purpose of keeping these tough examinations is to filter the students according to the neccessity of the multinationals. Let's make a plan where we actually do that. Because India having the second largest education in the world but in the top 10 best educational systems, India is nowhere.

If we are able to link our education with skill training right from junior classes where in schools offer some sort of skill development training in the school right from the junior level enabling children to earn while they learn .The children who have to support their parents in earning their livelihood wiil happily come to schools . Similarly in cities industries can be linked with industries to motivate children from weaker sections to attend school.

The erosion of moral values is hampering development and affecting the quality of life of Indian people. Inculcation of moral values is the only long term solution to the problem of corruption. Moral and value education should be a compulsory and significant part of curriculum from nursery to university stage in public and private institutions across the country. I filed Writ Petition (C) no. 62/2014 giving detailed suggestions, whereupon Delhi HC directed Union Government to examine suggestions
