Needless to mention, we have seen the importance of immunization. Small pox has been eradicated, and also polio, from this country. Proper immunization with the great will to do so, involving the government, district officials, community workers, celebrities, and the people to do their respective work and spread awareness through media, would go a long way in ensuring immunization to largely prevent, if not eradicate, many diseases.

The first step is definitely to create awareness. Today, a great proportion of villagers have access to proper food to last them everyday. Yet, many of them lack knowledge about the importance of balanced diet. To make implementation effective, the local Panchayats should be adequately trained and educated by the district administration to effectively spread awareness regarding balanced diet, proper cooking methods, and supplying food that is medically recommended for children.

As you written, Children are vulnerable to malnutrition and infectious diseases. All children must be covered under food security to all families to ensure complete eradication of malnutrition. Regular health check ups of families along Department of Health/Indian Council of Medical research. Awareness regarding health issues through Panchayats and other local bodies must be generated all over the country.Qualified health volenteers must be appointed to maintain health records.May I help India?

20 Lakh children die in India every year due to malnutrition. The mid-day meal scheme has been successful in reducing child death and their attendance in school. This can be extended to provide 2 meals a day. Simple application can be used to check weight of the child and have doctor checkup done at School. This can be recorded on a mobile app and analytics can be used to check the progress.
