Ranking? How colleges are getting ranks? many private colleges are getting better ranks like A+ just giving some bribe. Many Engineering colleges are started in 2 rooms or in a single building without any basic infra required for technical teaching. Why we are not getting better rank globally? We need to understand the quality of education, all colleges are focussing on better result, more admission, more business but very few are their who are working on on knowledge and personality..CNTD

Respected sir, I feel today the major changes that need to be adopted are - 1) course of MARTIAL ARTS . our indigenous art has been forgotten but bieng followed in JAPAN . Every individual in JAPAN is a soldier. 2) Schools should stress on teachings of major HOLY books (eg-jain madrasa in orissa run by secular SHG's ) 3)Research centres within colleges -R&D will strenghten, INNOVATION -at its peak (No more brain drain 4)Certified bsicskills-Plumber, electrician Etc-MAKE IN INDIA ensured

our indian government must provide moral education like autobiography of gandhi, biography of swami vivekanandha, netaji, jawaharlal nehru, and also some stories of spirituality to motivate and show the heroic performances of our heroesin maharbharata, ramayana, and express character of love with one another by sayings of jesus christ, buddha etc., These steps will only make our country as a strong nation.

Ya i agree all the institition should be ranked and appropiate bias free accreditations should be there and the min gov seat should be there in pvt institute, it should be made mandatory that entry to any course should be merit based (min criteria) instead of money based, min reservation should be there for women (like ST, SC) as it will increase the female/male ratio of literacy, Acredation status should be audited and it need to be ensure that accredation status is getting maintained,

I was thinking about the state of basic public education in our country. On one hand, India is producing some of the best minds in the world in every field; but on the other hand, a large section of our society remains uneducated, illiterate, and unable to read or write. This got me thinking - If American organisations willing to work for the better status of literacy rates are encouraged to operate here, working hand-in-hand with Indian organisations, this would help achieve the common cause
