yes i m in total agreement with this thought. cleanliness must start from basics. also it should be added in student's internal assesments ..

Pre nursery onwards emphasis on personnel hygeine and cleanliness is what FINI has started with good results.please do it all over.

To was my English paper and in writing section the question came that "AS I OPENED THE WINDOW I SAW" this was the question and in answer i have written that when i have opened the window i saw garbage and and then i have went there and clean the area and after that alll the cities people all contributing in it and we have take lots of pics and uploaded on social media and and lots of people get encouraged from our work. by this i want to tell u that we should spread awareness among the people..

since most of the garbage comes from our large cities and metropolitans, the government should try to focus it attention on these cities. some measurable parameters of cleanliness like dustbins at regular spacings, toilets at every 500 m , air particulate matter concentrations, covering of open drains and filtered drinking water booths at every public institution and market should be ensured in a time bound manner of 2- 3 years.

i met a lady (70 yrs old) at a sweets shop. she started talking about the dirt and garbage which was lying just in front of a shop and then Swachh Bharat. one hing that i liked about her discussion was- " A lady should lead the Clean India Campaign because in our country women actually clean our homes as well as streets. "

respected sir, i appreciate the intentions and logic behind clean india mission. But I have some reservations. As of now, its more of an awareness camapaign not an executive initiative. Awareness should be supplemented with Law against spitting, defacing, throwing of waste on roads and parks where defaulters are penalised. Executive action should be made the third component where municial corporation is equipped as well as motivated to make India really clean.

swachha vidyalaya is a great initiative. But it will take time to complete the mission. The time period given by GOI to states is obviously fine but as we know the progress of work will depend also on release of fund from GOI. After release from GOI it takes time to release it to State implementing society from state government. In that case no progress can be shown only in 2 to 4 days. So conduction of VCs within every 2-4 days is not appreciable additionally it is wastage of govt. fund.

Garbage management needs upper most priority in all urban and semi-urban centres. Garbage is being generated in heaps every second but its disposal is abysmal. This leads to an impossible situation. Garbage mounds attract more garbage and a vicious circle is set in. If his is tackled, clean India campaign will get a boost.

Indian Railways should take initiative for cleaning and keeping railway tracks clean I went to Shirdi from Vijayawada last January, I've noticed the track for about 15 min from the window, I see that, The trash was thrown on the sides all along the way to Shirdi. Irresponsible crew in the train- I was traveling in AC coach, During the journey I've collected all trash in to a plastic bag and tried to trash it at the end.
