Sir, The clean India movement was started with a lot of hype and was expected to clean India, which has not been as successful that it should have been. I have an idea to reduce people from cluttering the environment with litter by simply imposing fines on the person found to be littering and the people should itself work as watch guards to stop others from throwing any waste in the environment & the people who witnesses such event should also be a given a part of the fine , so to motivatethem.

For making India a Clean Country we need to start from foundation and that is School. People like me who are travelling out of India should take photos of the places and show students how other countries are maintaining the cleanliness and what they are following to do so. I am ready to start by approaching school of my Daughter once I am back in India and show them how clean other countries are and what practices they follow for the same.

Can we do one thing for swachh bharat? By stopping / banning the use of thermocol glass, plates etc in marriages? It is slow in biodegrade. Instead we can use paper plates and paper glasses which are biodegradable..

Clean India no doubt requires participation from all citizens of India. But the primary responsibility is with the govt. because the activity needs to be coordinated, executed and implemented by a single authority. Hence the govt. should constantly evaluate the progress and find out reasons for failure, for slow or nil progress and take steps. It may even need to take harsh decisions and actions which an individual has no legal authority to do so. Hence primarily the govt. should take initiative

Dear Sir, We have weighing machines that give you a tarot card at railway stations. Why can't we do the same thing, instead with a dustbin that gives you 2% national discount on food prices. This means, dump 50 waste stuff in their respective bins, you get get free food for survival. --A novel idea for propagating cleanliness.
