Respected Sir, it is wonderful that you have launched the Swachch Bharath Abhiyan. It is saddening however to bring to your notice that the local administration team is lacking initiative in this direction not only in Dakshina Kannada but throughout the state of Karnataka.Sir when the PM is showing them them the way, why are they not interested? The garbage bins are broken and overflowing, not enough cleanliness initiative; Sir please have a mechanism so they are answerable for all this.

This is in regard to the Power Ministry ad in newspapers. To make Delhi free of inverters/generators I suggest that all govt. buildings should be powered by solar energy. This work must be taken on priority. Another step that can immediately be taken up is to replace bulbs with LED lights in these buildings. Delhi being the hqrs of Central govt. they have hundreds of big buildings consuming enormous power and on which the Power Ministry can directly act and show the path for others to follow.

to clean our enviroment indian railways should participate. As mostly near the railway lines people throw their waste off. So in order to clean this the railway should use a boggy for carrying waste round the railway lines. It could be proved an excellent step towards "SWACHH BHARAT".

One news item in HT today reads "A year on, CSIR still headless". This is not expected. And why only CSIR the government should ensure that senior posts in all PSUs, PSBs, govt. departments etc are filled in time. Further ideally it would be still better if the new incumbent is brought 3 months in advance and works with the outgoing person to learn his/her job.
