समस्या हल करने, विवेचनात्मक सोच और तर्क कौशलों पर विशेष ध्यान देने वाले परीक्षा संबंधी सुधार माध्यमिक स्तर पर गुणवत्ता बेहतर बनाने लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। ऐसे सुधार शिक्षण-अधिगम प्रक्रियाओं में बदलाव लाएंगे और अधिगम परिणामों को बेहतर बनाएंगे। हाल के वर्षों में, सीबीएसई ने उससे संबद्ध स्कूलों में व्यापक परीक्षा सुधार आरंभ किए हैं, जैसे कि, कक्षा-X की बोर्ड परीक्षा को वैकल्पिक बना दिया गया है, सतत् और व्यापक मूल्यांकन (सीसीई) सुदृढ़ किया गया है ताकि छात्रों को उनके समग्र विकास के लिए निरंतर आधार पर आंका जा सके, अंकों के स्थान पर ग्रेडि़ंग प्रणाली आरंभ की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य मौजूदा तंत्र पर ध्यान देना और ऐसे सुधारों का सुझाव देना है जिनसे छात्रों के बेहतर आकलन में मदद मिले।

1. part of the exam marks should be made up from assignments given in the class, test of skills like- speaking/comprehension 2. Avoid Questions requiring answers by rote learning 3. Questions should be able invoke application of the concept

Things like following traffic signals respecting elders I mean to say that we first have to make them good human being. but for that we have to get quality teachers in whom students should found their role models. Panchatantra should be made compulsory as well. If the base is strong we can go ahead and build a tall handsome building. Jai Hind

The student instead of learning and understanding the subject gets habitual of just mugging it up and ends with no knowledge at the end of school. I suggest first to make the child learn 3 languages hindi and one local regional language these must be compulsory and one language of the choice of the student till he/she grows up to the age of 8-9 along with moral science and social values beacause the things we learn at that age we remember them life long.

There must be control on what the so called good education private schools are doing.They are taking some nonsense syllabus some 8-10 subjects for classes 3-8th most of them are useless or can be easily covered in other but just for their profit they get from the bookshops they teach such subjects.They instead of teaching the topic first completes the exercise that follows the chapter and then if got time they teach the chapter.

Sir,Our education system is totally failing.From 7th to 8th there should be specific education. This education should be job orientation, skill development.

C B S E has totally failed in its motive.The education system is commercialized. This body has no check on the price of books.The books which should cost from 80 to 100 are priced for Rs 300 to 450. It is shame for C B S E .Perhaps there is mass corruption in C B S E. This body is accepting money from publishers. The practice should be stopped to save our education system.

I have read the books of C B S E Schools from 3rd- 5th standard. In English Books 75-85% lessons are by foreign authors.These are very difficult for our students.Most of the words given are never used by our highly educated citizens like doctors and advocates in their life.The books should be by Indian Authors. Same is the case of Science books.There are so many mistakes in the books. In U S A 7,000 words of English are used by natives for 95% of they speak or write in English.

Formalities are growing day by day. Circulars and formats of assessment are changing as the commentary of cricket. The circulars of the CBSE Board are creating confusion among the parents , students and teachers as for example in assessments of class 10th students the board is following two types of assessment system one is known as school conducted and second is known as board conducted exam. We do not know what is the reason behind it.

The Board has made a dynamic change in the examination system of class-9th and 10th for the purpose to make the teaching -learning effective and to reduce the stress upon the students. Though the intention of the Board is not questionable but without knowing the level of human resources and technical expertise the board is imposing several types of exams. as-PSA,ASL.
