I have started the Campaign for the Environment & other social issues Programme. It is called “Cycle Yatra Ek Vichar, Jamui”, which works on several social issues, including environmental protection in Jamui District, in which a youth group travels every cycle on every Sunday to any village / town / tolla. During this time, members are made aware of the social issues, including environmental protection, organized by Nookar Sabha on Chowk- Chaurahaha. Unfortunately, in karnataka these schemes are being implemented by te graduates other than tthe Agricultural Engineers and very few Agricultural engineering graduates in the department of Agriculture as Gok doesn't have a separate Department/ Directorate of Agricultural Engineering in the state. In this context, Honourable PM ji we earnestly request your kind self to kindly intervene in this regard to utilise the services of Agricultural engineering human resources in the various departments sectors of Government of Karnataka on top priority basis and also advice to establish a separate Department/ Directorate of Agricultural Engineering as already functioning successfully in various states of our country.
