Discussion in Round 3 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Jhansi Municipal Corporation is organizing a Discussion Forum on “Draft Smart City Proposal” prepared taking into account citizens priorities and aspirations for Jhansi city.

In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Jhansi a Smart City. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analysed to articulate the vision, goals and now the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

First and foremost task is to clean the city of garbage. It is an unclean city. clear the road sides and foot paths of peddlers, Thelawallas and encroachments by shopkeepers Remove feral pigs, stray cattle and reduce population of stray dogs. Remove and prohibit display of adds and publicity boards/ materials,, pamphlets, stickers et,c hung or pasted all over electic poles, road dividers ROBs boundary walls of buildings.
