it is unfortunate that an people earning lacs of rupees per year wants everything cheap , subsidized,why not install it by spending a few rupees. when purchasing an electronic item for home use cost does not matter,by reducing power consumption first we are helping ourselves, then the country .. so do it , we have done 2 years ago for the house and also ensure that no electrical appliance are using or wasting electricity ..

first of all we need to educate people the good advantage and usage of LED LIGHT. and the government should give in subsidiary rate. the private and public sector jointly initiate this measure not only in urban but also in rural area in most...thank you

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) is set to launch a massive LED promotion drive in the state aiming at daily savings of 350 megawatts (MW) on peak-hour demand and 400 million units (MU) a year. An official statement said here that the consumers could collect two LED bulbs by paying Rs. 190 along with the power bill issued after February 25. The statement said that the consumers needed to approach the KSEB section office only after getting intimation along with their power bill.

Nowadays , people are mostly using CFLs or tubelights in their house. We can start the scheme such as Exchange LEDs schemes which will provide LED at low cost or at free to people in exchange of CFLs or tubelights.

we need to start with basics, which is easy availability of LED bulbs. If that can be combined with reasonable price, many would change. This is not the case as on date.

Street lights, Hoarding lights and even the lights used in the parks and public places should be replaced with LED lights. Government should encourage by buyback of old bulbs with the new LED lights open for all. Publicity should be made on how the use of led lights reduces the CO2 and also the main uses.

Really it is fantastic though for LED Project. Now a day most of people are living in Flat so there is Square LED they are using. So I thought we have to supply Square LED. So 100% people can use LED as per our nations goal .

Street lighting should be replaced with led fittings. They are more bright, provide more illumination and less prone to getting fused. Moreover they are pleasing to eye and provide adequate brightness for the vehicles to mov. Every alternate pole should be on one circuit so that during full moon night as well as after peak hours say after 12 am, one circuit can be switched off to save power consumption flat 50%.

Dear Sir, all Street lights should be on light intensity wherein the lights shall get switched on/off on light intensity. As of now, through the day, the street lights are on which is sheer wastage of energy and cost to the ordinary citizen. Secondly the State Electricity bills should show the comparison of with LED bulbs V/s Without LED bulbs.
