I sincerely request the Govt. to immediately stop the manufacture of incandescent lamps except for special applications in India, no matter what economical impact it has on poor people as told by activists. This will increase the cost of these lamps for common men diverting them to CFL or LED. Sometimes, the Govt. has to be strict in some regards.

I still find the govt. not doing anything in this regard. Instead for some purposes like poultry farming where they need heat, incandescent bulbs should be made costly for the common man. Many are still not using CFL itself when these are cheap, then how does the govt. hope to see all homes fitted with LED? First, remove the subsidies for incandescent lamps or increase its costs by higher taxation. People will automatically come to LED way. Many countries have phased out or prohibited them.

People who paying bills actuals never waste electricity.People who are getting electricity free of cost (By Theft or with involvement of Electricity deptt) only wasting. There is need to design such electricity meters which tells highest usage of electricity in Peak hours.Once tat saved in meter increase the load accordingly.People consuming 3 to 5 times of their load.Only those people waste energy which getting free of cost.Link and cross check there electricity bills with highest load use.
