उजाला योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य उत्तम प्रकाश व्यवस्था को बढ़ावा देना, बिजली की कम खपत करने वाले व वातावरण के अनुकूल अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले उपकरण के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देना है। साधारण बल्ब के मुकाबले LED के बल्ब मात्र दसवां हिस्सा बिजली खपत करते हैं और साधारण बल्ब के समान या उससे अधिक रोशनी प्रदान करते हैं।

LED बल्ब के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देने के उपायों और तरीकों के संबंध में आपकी सलाह और विचार आमंत्रित हैं।

sir Mr pushe goyel. according to ujala scheme the led bulb was too high in price because the 7v led blub in 99rs and this scheme only 9v blub was sell in 85rs .specially there is no choice of bulb in any volt so my suggestions is reduce the price to 50 to 60 rs per bulb so it is benefit to ruler peoples .. #ministryofpower

Dear sir/madam The best way to promote usage of LED bulbs and energy efficient equipments is to write effective tag lines below the electric bills and Advertising the schemes at electric bill paying center's where people's can able see while paying the bills. So I hope this is the most effective way to enhance the awareness without any investment.

सभी शहरों की स्ट्रीट लाइट में सिर्फ led का ही इस्तेमाल किया जाए....और अगर इसमें सोलर ऊर्जा का उपयोग किया जाए... इसे भारत के हर राज्य में लागु किया जाये

If people will be able to see, compare and manage their electricity bills on their phone like prepaid sim balance and data usage , it will significantly help in the direction of #EnergyConservation. Rising bill amount in realtime will change the mindset of people using electricity carelessly.
