To encourage people for the use of LEDs ,I suggest : 1. Govt. Subsidized LEDs must be Available at retailer shops(Aam Aadmi purchase it direct from the retailer). 2.LEDs must be made available at Gram panchayats OR at Primary schools in villages( As everyone who wishes to buy an LED cannot Approach Electricity Board office everytime rather he wishes to get it from nearby place ).

When you purchase a single LED bulb it costlier when compared with incandescent bulb and CFL. But due to high life span of LED's you only have tp purchase very few than compared to other bulbs which have less life span. In this way if we calculate cost of bulbs used per year we conclude that LED's are very very much cheaper. So i request all of you to use LED's and save energy for our younger generations. THANK YOU.

lumens is the amount of light emitted. LED's give more lumens with less power than incandescent bulbs and CFL. so energy is saved a lot by individual if every citizen uses LED major amount of energy is saved. which can make our country richer. so we must use LED's. Moreover LED's have less annual cost than incandescent and CFL bulbs. LED's have more life span approximate 50000 hours which is more than incandescent and CFL.

Environmental impacts of bulbs. incandescent bulbs: does not contain mercury. it contains RoHS(restriction of hazardous substances) and it emits 4500 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. CFL: it contains mercury which is dangerous to health and environment and it emits 1051 ponds of CO2 per year. LED: it does not contain mercury. it had RoHS compliant and it emits 451 pounds of CO2 per year. low energy consumption decrease CO2 emissions sulfor oxide and high level nuclear waste so use LED's

government should supply the LED bulbs through states civil&supply department with nominal cost it easily create awareness of using LED bulbs

I dont know why people are not using LED's even after it is having so much advantages.I got a summary on bulbs i will post here. so that people can understand the differences between the bulbs they are using and LED's.

Although the government reduced the price of LED bulbs but the price is still high at electrical shops.
