The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) was notified by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) vide Notification No. D-17/113/2017-E&PW on 5th December 2018, to regulate the functioning of entities engaged in Vocational Education and Training.

In pursuance of the mandate of NCVET, the ‘Guidelines for Recognition and Regulation of Assessment Agencies’ have been formulated by laying the objective, foundation principles & approach, structure, proposed models of assessment for recognizing and regulation of Assessment agencies under NCVET.

The Guidelines is posted on the public domain- MyGov portal, to solicit comments/suggestions, if any, from the public/stakeholders and all are requested to convey their suggestions/comments on the Guidelines latest by 18.10.2020.

I hope this agency would play it's role for all the activities it would be setup, actively and smartly. As it is always seen in our country that whenever a good agency is setup, it's operations puts more burden on both government and public rather than providing a good value in return. So now, if the guidelines would be strictly followed everyday it would be a good asset for us otherwise there would be nothing new for us But, Japan never allows any waste to be produced as per Lean manufacturing
