Respected Madam/Sir, I think in view of the increasing threats to our national security, the defence budget for the year should be increased to 100 Billion USD. This would help in bridging the gap in strength between Chinese and Indian Army. Also, we should invest more in health taking in consideration the ever increasing threat to economy and life from Corona like viruses. There should be a seperate department to oversee the implementation of Central schemes on the ground as implementation in a country like India with a huge population and complex political landscape is always a problem. The way disinvestment is going forward is commendable with the recent successful privatisation of Air India, thus boost to privatisation should be given. More focus should be given to boost manufacturing activities in the country. The recent push to manufacture semiconductors in the country is a great idea, it should be implemented soon. "Make in India" is central to growth of the country.

Dear Sir/Madam, Namaste !!! Please match the fiscal year with the calendar year, i.e., instead of April - March, make it January - December. In addition to the aforementioned suggestion, I would like to propose that you standardize the date format to YYYY-MM-DD, which would make storing and retrieving data and files easier. This is our Bharat (Indian) style of representing "kaal/date & time".

We have to prepare separate challans for TDS section wise and company / non company wise every month. Resulting in duplicacy of data and preparation of multiple challans which consumes lot of man hour and also possibility of mannual errors. This senario is same in case of TCS. Our suggestion is Department shall introduce a single challan in which relevant sections and deductee details are integrated. For Example : in GST a single challan is prepared for payment of IGST, CGST, SGST, UTGST and CESS also interest and penalty thereon. The above suggestion is for TDS challan and TCS challans. According to me, single challan (section wise) for payment of TDS / TCS is possible.
