Prime Minister Narendra Modi looks forward to sharing his thoughts on a number of themes and issues in the next 'Mann ki Baat' which is on 28th August, 2016. As always, the Prime Minister invites you to share your ideas on topics he should address. So what are the themes, issues or topics that you want the Prime Minister to speak about?

Share your views in this Open Forum or alternatively you can also dial the toll free number 1800-11-7800 and record your message for the Prime Minister in either Hindi or English. Some of the recorded messages may become part of the broadcast.

The primary focus for all the developed nation is education but as far as quality education is concerned we are not up to the mark as desired in the dreams of every Indians. The teachers in govt schools must b given the opportunities to enhance their qualifications like b.ed ,m.ed etc but the sad part is that they are not giving the opportunity as only ignou provides distance education program. My request is that the govt must enhance the distance education program for in service teachers.

Strong & Firm steps to stop flood. Last year we saw it, Two year back we saw it, Now we are seeing this & Next year I guess we will see it. Why not govt. working hard & fast to stop flood as every year it affect millions and we let it go every time. Last time, this time we failed, What steps govt. is taking that next year it will not happen again, Its painful. Govt. build road flood destroy it so at the end progress becomes zero. YOU ARE AWESOME :)

Reviving BSNL. If all employees of the central & state governments, quasi judicial bodies and PSU are asked to use Mobile Number Portability and switch over to BSNL, it will help in reviving the fortune of the tax payer funded entity. And since it's ultimately the tax payer who is funding the phone bills, it should not be of any problem. At the same time, BSNL will have to wake up from its slumber to serve better the approx. 1 crore subscribers that it will gain. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas

Continued to prev post : everybkid and parent want to choose cricket as carees because of lot of money recognition acceptance but in other sports nobody even remember after few days who have won the medal in olympiad they only learn for their competion .it would be a great step if all sports are to be given equally importance and best infrastructure and secured future is provided in other sports also

Hon'ble, PM Sir, mai aapko suggest Karna chahata hu ki ,Hum hamari beti ko Bachpan se Teaching dete hai, Sanskar karte hai, Aur uski marriage me hum uska KANYADAN Karte hai, ye DAN WORD galat hai,hum DAN karne ke liye BETI ko bada nahi karte, agar KANYADAN Ki jagah 'KANYAPRADAN' Ho to samaj me narika Sahi Sanman hoga. or 2) hum Aap jaise Kabil leader ko election mai VOTE Karte hai, wo VOTE hum DAN me nahi karte Isliye 'matadan' ki jagah 'MATAPRADAN' HO.

Dear Modiji, Greetings from Sikkim. The biggest potential lies with the youth. Their caliber and talents need proper guidance and utilization. The Government should focus on harnessing the youth potential and give them direction. If they do so, no one can stop India from becoming a super power. The future lies in the hands of the youth. Youth potential is the greatest inexhaustible wealth of our nation. Jai Yuwa, Jai Bharat

Sir, I want to suggest a measure which will discourage theft of vehicles as it will discourage sale of stolen vehicles.The country can have a single website (may be under Surface Transport Ministry) where details of any vehicle registered in the country is available at click of the mouse. In the website, search can be made either through Registration no. of vehicle, or through chassis no. and/ or through engine no. The details of the owner of vehicle & vehicle’s details should be available.

Sir as we know recently olympics are over now and there our position is not too good ascit can . In our country there is lot of potential i would like if u speak on sports here more importance is given to cricket everytime u can findsome series is going on same as in cricket other sports are also to be promoted and media play a very vital role it will increase motivation of our people .today kids as well as there parents wants to choose cricket as their career as it has lot of money recognition

Respected sir , recently a huge banyan tree was cut off for construction of an IT park. the loss of the banyan tree encourages me to write to you . I request you to speak about deforestation in this mann ki baat. i also hope that like a swachh bharat campaign , you will start a social campaign for afforestation. Also it is my hope that you may please speak about Saalumarada Thimmakka an old lady from karnataka ,who has planted planting 384 banyan trees along a four-km stretch in Shimoga dist

Dear Prime Minister of India, I have an observation and suggestion 1. Indians are viewed as most untruthful, disorganised and having no moral values, this is despite us being so religious . The incidence of crime , rapes and brutal assaults are a testimony. 2. The school education system needs to be revamped. Instead of children being taught and made to rote useless information, they should have moral science and civic sense periods included in their syllabus to stimulate inner conscious
