Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

रोडों पर अधिक से अधिक लाईटें लगानी चाहिये, जो लगी हैं दुरुरत करानी चाहिये। और हो सके तो सौर उर्जा लाईटों पर अधिक से अधिक ध्यान देना चाहिये।

put dustbin in every 200 or 500 meter so that clean india campaign fulfilled. avoid the parking on the roads and provide a separate way for pedestrian and zebra crossing to cross the roads.At main kalyan railway station there's very bad/pathetic arrangement for the mini buses and magic the gov must take care of it.

One of the biggest problem in Kalyan is Traffic as of now on 06-07-2016. It is getting very difficult to travel even on bike anywhere in kalyan specially near station area. Kalyan doesn't have traffic signals working even in today's world. The signals were implemented in around 2005 or 2006 but still they are not started in kalyan. It is very imp to deal with the traffic in Kalyan city and make flyovers. Also it would be a great help if we can get CIDCO in Kalyan-Dombivli instead of MMRDA.
