Under the ‘Smart Cities’ mission, various smart and innovative works would be under-taken in various sectors such as drinking water system, sewerage, sanitation, SWM, public ...

Under the ‘Smart Cities’ mission, various smart and innovative works would be under-taken in various sectors such as drinking water system, sewerage, sanitation, SWM, public transport, storm water drains, parks, community hall, roads, flyover and others.

Agra Municipal Corporation has started doing innovation for improving the quality of life of citizens; like LED lighting, Solid waste management , Property Tax Collection etc. Recently, Agra Municipal Corporation was Awarded for successful implementation of LED Light project. AMC also start to collect household mobile numbers and e-mail id to send information about tax dues and tax collection electronically.

Under this Mission preparation of SMART City Plan and formulate its own unique vision and strategies through citizen‘s& stakeholder’s views and suggestion on Smart City. Agra Municipal Corporation requests all to share their ideas, suggestions, vision and innovative solutions and grab this opportunity to be a part of this challenge to transform Agra into SMART CITY.

Citizens are requested to suggest innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions for the Area Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area);
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure);
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas) and also viable
• PAN City Initiative.

Agra Municipal Corporation is looking forward for valuable suggestions from all the citizens of Agra.

The last date to submit your suggestions/ comments is 30th November, 2015.

Agra ek Eetihasik paryatan state hai yahan ke logon ke alawan vishvbhar ke log taj aur Red Fort ko dekhane aate hain lekin yahan ke avara tempoo wale iss sehar ki chhavi ko dhoomil kar rahe hain kripya sabase pehle Tempo Walo Or TAJMEHAL & RED FORT par lapkon ko rokna or unka thik hona Bahut Jaruri hai……

Ground water in Agra is drying up. A lot of people in my area had to dig their bore well deeper this year. One thing that could be done is making it compulsory for the corporative buildings and housing societies to set up a roof top water harvesting system and government to issue a NOC for its proper functioning and renewal after a certain number of years. Imposing a tax on those who do not follow would certainly help. Also providing subsidies for domestic water harvesting systems could help to.

We also need well built roads and good infrastructure. International Airport is necessary in Agra. Cleanliness and waste management and disposal should be taken seriously rather than a joke. If needed penalty for throwing garbage should be levied.More trees should be planted to make Agra's air cleaner and healthier.

First we should be smart in our minds,then we would be able to make our city smart,In my opinion We should make a real green Agra... not on papers-for this a theme plantation is required, roads should distinguish by the avenue of particular row plantation,2nd most important issue is Traffic and Parking management which has been worst now.3rd is encroachment,4th is drainage,there should also ban on burning firecrackers,Also control in corruption level to increase the Faith in Governance.

Everything should be digitized in Agra. People dont need to go into any government department for any work/ certificate etc. Because human interaction always increase corruption. Time limit for every work should be defined and escalation matrix should also be published on website where people can reach to hire authorities if their work not done.Feedback option should be there on each government site so that people can give their feedback and it should be tracked by senior authorities regularly.
