Dear Citizens and Stakeholders of New Town Kolkata,

This is to inform you all that your city New Town Kolkata is one of the 23 cities selected all over India which have been put on a fast track mode to become a Smart City.

As per the directions received from the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, we have to submit an upgraded Smart City Proposal, taking into consideration the inputs received from the citizens and stakeholders within the broad framework of observations made available by the team of experts who have evaluated the plan.

You are therefore invited to go through our Smart City Plan in detail along with the observations of the expert panel, the links of which have been provided underneath and submit your inputs here within 18/03/2016.

You can also send your suggestions online to the email id smartcity@nkda.in or submit written copies at the Smart City Help Desk at the office of New Town Kolkata Development Authority, No 3, MAR, New Town, Kolkata – 156.

Being a Mangaloren i feel sad for  ineligibility of Mangalore in First list of Smart city. But ineligibility of Mangalore is expected. We have nice concrete road which remains in good condition in all 3 season. But drainage of rain water  n footpath is menace here. Many bike riders n Walker met with serious accident n had  grevious injury simultaneously lost life also. Please make rule that, call a single tender to road works as well as footpath n rainwater drainage beneath footpath.

dear sir thik h aap delhi ya or metro cities ko devlop karne ka soch rhe h but sir jab tak india k chote level k shahar or ganv devlop nhi honge tab tak india ka ikas us leval par nhi ho paega jis level par hum chahte h. sir aapne har sansad ko 1 ganv choos karne k kha iski jagah aapko har vidhayak ko bhi 1 ganv choos karne ka kahna chahie thank u

आदरणीय प्रधान मंत्री जी मुझे आज एक RSS का स्वंयसेवक व BJP का सदस्य अपने आप को कहते हुये शर्म महसूस हो रही है ।हरियाणा आरक्षण के नाम पर जो हुआ वो 1984 व गोधरा कांड , गुजरात दंगो से भी भयावह था। एक परत्यक्षदर्शी ने अखबार को बताया की किस तरह जीटी रोड पर महिलाओं को खींचकर लोग खेतों मे ले जाकर उनके साथ बदसुलूकी की। लोगो के घरों व दुकानों को जलाया गया । किस तरह सड़कों पर जाम व रेल की पटरियों को उखाड़ दिया गया । कहते हुये दुख होता है की यह कैसी आपकी कानून व्यवस्था है ?
