In order to engage with the stakeholders and invite comments from the public at large, the Department of Revenue has decided to make available the proposed amendments in CGST Act, 2017, IGST Act, 2017 and the GST (Compensation to States) Act, 2017 in the public domain. The draft proposals for amendments can be seen here. You are invited to submit your comments/feedback on the draft proposals for amendments through this discussion on MyGov.in. To facilitate the analysis of the comments / feedback, you are requested to add a hashtag to your comments. The hashtags should be added using the following scheme:

Use the hashtag #AmendmentSrNo1 for comments pertaining to amendment detailed at serial no.1 of the draft proposals,#AmendmentSrNo2 for comments pertaining to amendment detailed at serial no. 2 of the draft proposals, etc.

In case you have more than one suggestion to offer, you may find it convenient to type out your comments in a separate document, with hashtags specifying the Serial No. for which the comments are being given.

Mutual funds distributor need not b asked to pay gst as they donot collect money or do any trade..Like Lic agent..So pl stop this ..And also current charge of 18% is v high..Funds distributors are unable to pass on this to investors..Pl lower this burden. It's too harsh as along with income tax it's total around 40%..Perhaps highest among all tax payers..Pl rethink and change..ThankS..Dipak gandhi fr baroda

there is no facility for modification of GST practitioner Registration details. So that, I can not update my professional qualification of Company Secretary/Chartered Accountant in the registration certificate. previously i took the registration based on my B.Com degree only. Please up date. Also find the attachment for problems in Refund process for exports

The Deposit required to be made against the Appeal u/s 107(6) is 10% and u/s 112(8) is another 20% totaling to 30% of the demand.This will result in indiscriminate demand by the authorities to dispute everything and corner 30% of the demand.Under the erstwhile Excise/Service Tax provisions it was only 7.5% against the first Appeal and another 2.5% against the 2nd Appeal totaling to 10% against the present GST regime of 30%.Under Income Tax Act also the pre-deposit is only 20%
