I’ve never personally done this but I think it is such a cute idea! Make a bunch of small bags filled with goodies, and open one at each hour mark.  This would be a fun thing to do with kids as well as maybe with friends or a significant other, especially if the bags are filled with gifts. This keeps the night interesting and you always have something to look forward to while waiting for the ball to drop!

Open up a cookbook at random. Make the dish that you see on that page. Close your eyes and pull three markers from a box. Color only with those markers for one week. Go to an art museum with a notepad. Look at art and come up with your own titles for the pieces. Create a running list of titles. When you get home, make doodles that represent each of these titles. The doodles do not have to replicate the original artwork.

Next year resolution is to create a workshop cum exhibition of the handmade items through local raw materials available in the surroundings. The objective is to train the interested group and merchandise the items among potential customers in and around Durgapur. We are lacking technical experts and unable to maintain the traditional skills, as the next generation is not interested to involve in the profession become no viable due to improper positioning of the hand made items.Revival by exhibit

Surprises that come from randomness will boost you to look at old things in new ways, and can infuse your life with little bursts of inspiration. Here are a few ideas: Get lost in your own town. When I was little, my grandparents would drive me around Los Angeles and invite me to decide which direction the car would travel. At every intersection I would holler out, “left,” “right,” or “straight ahead,” and before you knew it we would be “lost.” So much fun! Invite a child to get “lost” with you

“Complex cognitive processing takes time, and, without some reasonable time for that processing, creativity is almost impossible.” This quote comes from a Harvard Business Review article, which makes a strong case that creativity requires time. If you really want to make this a year to make and create, be sure to carve out time for it. Here are some ideas: Set your alarm clock an hour earlier than usual. Use this quiet time to journal, draw, write, or exercise. Do you frequently wake up in th

However, being wrong can be soooo liberating and fun. Which of these two scenarios sounds like more fun? 1. Building a perfect scale model of your home. 2. Building an interpretation of your home with toothpicks and play dough. Hmmm. Unless you’re an architect who revels in the nuance of detailed elevations, I’m guessing you went with #2. And if I’m wrong (hooray!), you might really need this tip!

Start with a sheet of paper and pens (the same or different colors – you choose). The first player draws in the middle of the paper. The second player adds to the first drawing and then passes it along to the next player. You can tun the paper, attach your drawing to another or have it hang apart. Make up your own rules. Continue until you decide it is done.
