The energetic city of Meerut is getting closer to fulfilling its Smart City goals. Meerut has been selected for Round-3 under the Smart Cities Mission of the Central Government. As the city wishes to reflect the needs and aspirations of the citizens in its Smart City Proposal, the city seeks the opinions and suggestions of its citizens.

Therefore, we ask for the active participation & suggestions of the citizens of Meerut or anyone associated with the city in some or the other way for -

The suitable vision for Meerut City for uplifting the face of Meerut by restoring the pride of the city through rejuvenating the historical trade & commercial business with smartness and hence transferring the city into affordable, liveable, wealthier and clean city.

The vision for Meerut Smart city may include economics, routine life of citizens, social life, environmental and spatial components.

First priority for my city Meerut should be anti encroachment drive to widen the roads to reduce traffic congestion, Second.. cleanliness on roads n colony Along with sewage disposal. Third .. safety of kids, female n elder people. Fourth...24 hrs electricity. Fifth... Transparent governess Sixth... E government

The teaffic management in Meerut should improve. There must be more red lights stoppages woth traffic police and the defaulters must be fined/ punished unbiasedly. There is so much terror to go out alone at anytime of the day. The robbers/ criminals and unsocial elementa have grown up in the city and have crossed the threshold. The government bodies like Nagar Nigam should go digital and update their websites regulaly for the ease of citizens. Cleanliness and beautification of the city required.

Hon. PM has great concept of developing the smart city, the standard of living of people will be comfortable with all types of facilities required for people , which is essential for in this advance period, road, water, electricity, business, industries,education, health, enviornment,transportation,railway, waste management, cleanness, etc. types of various services should be available to people without any restriction,further,people should aware about their support for smart city, best wishes

मेरठ एक क्राइम कैपिटल के रूम मैं जाने जाना लगा है इसे कण्ट्रोल करने के लिए पुलिस को चाहिए की सहयोग करने वालों को बढ़ावा दे न की उनको प्रताड़ित करे |दूसरी समस्या यहाँ साफ सफाई की है जिसमे यहाँ की संस्थाएं तो साफ़ सफाई में साथ दे ही रहीं हैं परन्तु इसके लिए बायोडिग्रेडेबल वेस्ट प्लांट और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का होना जरूरी है तीसरी समस्या यहाँ आने जाने और ट्रैफिक जाम की है जिसके लिए प्रशिक्षित पुलिस,दंड प्रिक्रिया और जनता का सहयोग अत्यावश्यक है बिजली,सड़क,पानी शहर को स्मार्ट बनाने के लिए प्रमुख अंग हैं |

1) First of all the city should be secure as i have seen even the teenagers handing a gun with them and making a fire beside the police station itself and no policemen even got bothered with that.I don't know what they wait for. 2)The roads should be properly marked in accordance with the vehicle. There should be a separate lane for Auto Rickshaw drivers as they shop anywhere anytime which leads to increased rate of accidents. 3)Mandatory education for everyone.
