You can send your messages on the Narendra Modi App by giving a missed call to 1922 or in the comments section below. DD and AIR would broadcast the best posts on their platform. MyGov would also release selected best posts through its social media handles. Prime Minister may read a selection of the best posts in his Mann ki Baat slated for 30th October 2016.

On this Diwali all I want to say is Thank you. Thank you for keeping us safe when you fight with your life; thank you for protecting our families when your own are anxiously waiting for you, thank you for laying down your life to make sure we live in peace. Thank you for a million things. Today we will light lamps on behalf of you all and we will hope that our lights, laughter and blessings are carried over to you. We hope that at least next year you can come home for Diwali. Happy Diwali :)

I've been thinking a lot about this 'sandesh' to you, and feel there aren't words to thank you all for what you do for every Indian. Wherever you go, you carry our country's light with you. India's lamp is forever lit with the fire of your bravery. अपने देश के सैनिकों के लिए जो भी सन्देश दिमाग़ में आता है मन कहता है कि यह बहुत कम है ! ऐसे वीरों के लिए कोई क्या लिखे जो देशवासिओं के लिए भीषण बाढ़ में बेड़ा (समुद्री जहाज़) बन जाते हैं, भयानक आग में बरसात बन कर आते हैं, और दुश्मनों की चलाई हर आंधी से देशवासिओं की खुशिओं के दीपकों की लौ की रक्षा के लिए हथेलियों की ओट बन जाते हैं जो हथेलियां जल तो जाती हैं लेकिन लौ को बुझने नहीं देती ! अगर किसी को मेरे देश के बहादुर सैनिकों के धन्यवाद करने के लिए कोई उपयुक्त शब्द मिले तो कृपया मुझे ज़रूर बताए !
