dear sir, I am a Retd air force personnel. it is found that serving soldiers have been exempted from toll tax as per ngai guidelines. Sir, after a long service in defence till superannuation upto 57 yrs, During service period , I could not buy a car due to financial condition or postings . Now after 57 yrs, before retirement , I bought a car and I just want to take my family on tour. than I have to pay toll tax on highways and so. it does not seems to be justified. may I request your kind honour to reconsider the decision and urge minister of road and transportation to extend exemption of toll tax for retired army jawans too.
