The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

Always use strong and unique passwords to protect your accounts. 3. Do not click suspicious links or respond to unknown messages — they might be scams. 4. Report and block anyone who sends hurtful or bullying messages online. 5. Think before you post — once something is online, it can be shared widely. 6. Keep your social media accounts private and share information only with people you trust. 7. Log out from public devices after use to protect your personal data. 8. Update your apps and software regularly to stay protected from security threats. 9. Never share OTPs, passwords, or bank details with anyone, even if they claim to be officials. 10. Always talk to a trusted adult or teacher if you face any online problems

In today’s digital world, staying safe online has become very important. Digital safety means protecting our personal information, devices, and online identity from threats like hacking, scams, and cyberbullying. It involves using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, keeping privacy settings updated, and thinking carefully before sharing anything on the internet. Talking about digital safety helps people become more aware of the risks and learn how to use technology responsibly. By having open discussions and educating others, we can create a safer and more respectful online environment for everyone.

Subject: Suggestion to Start a Nationwide Digital Safety Dialogue Respected Prime Minister, With India’s rapid digital growth, millions of citizens are using online platforms daily for education, business, and communication. However, issues like cyber frauds, data leaks, misinformation, and online harassment are also increasing. I would like to suggest the launch of a Digital Safety Dialogue — a national initiative to promote digital awareness, online safety education, and responsible internet use among citizens. This dialogue can include awareness campaigns, workshops in schools and colleges, collaboration with tech companies, and public participation to build a safer, more informed digital India. Such an initiative will strengthen Digital India by ensuring not just access to technology, but also security, trust, and digital responsibility for all. Sir, I want to share my opinions on digital safety for students that in today's era almost every student under age of 18 are using the social media in a destructive way and these content affect the mental thoughts of the upcoming Youth and these apps like Instagram, Facebook,YouTube etc. are uploading the vulgar content on these platforms but govt. is not taking any action on them. So, I am requesting to the Indian govt. that please ban them. Please ensure that the youth will contribute further for the development of India. Therefore the govt. should launch the platform for the minors which are under the control of govt. and all the contents are should be only for study related because now the social contents are ruining the life of students and the app should have the upcoming scheme for the students where the students watch these contents and will contribute in the development of India. An app can save the life of the students from ruining. The Upcoming Youth are Strength of India.
