Respected Prime Minister, My suggestion is regarding timing of government offices. Presently, in both summers and winters, the timing remains the same. However, these facts merit attention. In second half of June, the sun rises at around 5:22 am and sets at around 7:22 pm. In second half of December, the sun rises at around 7:13 am and sets at around 5:27 pm. The present office timings are perhaps a colonial legacy. As such, the timings may perhaps be reviewed by DoPT: opening offices one hour earlier than present timing in summer and one hour later than present timing in winter. Or, at least for the former, it would be a welcome change for the staff, as they would in a position to gainfully utilize the time.
