Incentives should be provided to those who deposit funds in banks.
It is a matter of concern that very low interest rates are being paid on money deposited in banks.
Poor middle class families live on the interest earned by investing their savings in banks.
Many senior citizens, widows and people with disabilities complain about the interest paid on savings in banks.
Co-operative banks also offer incentives and gift items to their customers every year. But could not afford in the nationalized banks. The central government should order the banks to provide annual incentives.
People are anxious to invest as interest rates in banks are low.Incentives should be given to people who suffer from low interest rates. People will only be happy if people are encouraged to deposit money.
Even if the banks do not provide, the central government should provide.
The central government should consider that incentives are just as important for those who invest in banks as loan waivers for borrowers
