Sir,I, IC 44078L Major V M Babu(Retd) took Premature Retirement from the Army on Compassionate Grounds.After proceeding on Retirement I have not even been issued a Retired Officers' Identity Card by the Zilla Sainik Board on the grounds of DOP&T OM No.36034/5/85-Estt(SCT) dated 14 Apr 1987. This is a Draconian Order.I gave 21 years(including 4 years of Training and 5 years as Reserve) of my youth in the Service of the Nation and am still not recognized as an Ex-Serviceman. Jai Hind!
