Defence or govt should ask bids from local companies for the products as per RFI. It is upto companies whether company make products with foreign collaboration, DRDO technology or home grown. Govt should give incentives like DLI(Design Link Incentive), MDI(Manufacturing Link Incentive if units need to setup), PLI(Production Link Incentive) and ILI(Percentage of Indigenous components indulged). By this Eco-System of all products will developed.
