GOVT MUST STOP THE VISA AND PASSPORT WORK BY OUT SOURCING AND MUST LET CONSULATES MUST TAKE CARE THIS WORK WITH NRI'S DIRECTLY PL

"WHY INDIAN PASSPORT IS NOT RECOGNIZED AS COMPARED TO OTHER WESTERN OR SEA COUNTRY PASSPORTS' Every continent / country on earth likes and respects INDIA genuinely and some in sarcastic way. However, why Indian passports are not accepted or recognized as compared to any other countries like US, European and South-East Asian country passports. Yes, I`m pointing at "VISA on ARRIVAL" or "Just stamp on Arrival" kind of status to Indian passports by other countries...What shall be done for this...!

I have been filing Income Tax returns for the past 20 years for my income in India and find that the system is designed to harass honest tax payers. If my income goes up, it is picked up for "scrutiny" and the harassment will go on for years. if the refunds (thanks to TDS) are small I receive them but, when they are large, they are not cleared. If I move cities and want to change my address, it does not get fixed for years. Catch Tax cheaters and do not harass Tax payers.

There is a long list of NRIs who have made tremendous contribution to science and R&D in technology. They are alumunus of our Engineering colleges, and its a shame that countries except India have made use of their brains. We should target some specific NRIs in these fields and invite them to coordinate with our government, to work in India for a few years, to solve our unique problems through the use of technology and their expertise and experience in carrying out problem oriented research.

The government should seriously consider and think about an airport in Aranmula, Kerala. Few reasons to support the cause: 1. Pathanamthitta District in Kerala is the only district of Kerala that has not developed much despite of having the most number of NRIs as well as NRKs. 2. The money flow into Kerala due to this population is one of the biggest revenue for the state and all of us literally travel more than 3 to 4 hours just to reach home. I have more but limitation in space.

The behavior of Airport authorities at the airports have to be addressed without any fail at the earliest. I am not sure about all of them. But for sure Cochin International Airport employees are not at all mannered and cultured. They tend to harass a lot. Indians should be given the first priority and not any other foreigners.

Modiji is travelling to various countries where NRIs work, many of these countries have unfavorable Social Security Agreement with India. As a result an NRI returning home will not enjoy the same social security benefit as person from Singapore. This results in people forced to give up Indian citizenship and then avail the benefits. India is currently in position of strength to correct this and bring back hard earned money. As IT sector is expanding, it is imperative on GOI to act.

Please please get someone professional to redesign the online visa application form and process. The current one is terrible and does not reflect India s reputation as a leading IT service provider.

Let's encourage airlines to have direct flights to UK and US from more Indian cities. Why force people to have to fly to Mumbai or Delhi and make them take inconvenient connecting flights to cities like Ahmedabad? If Emirates can fly do it why not Air India? Make it easier for NRIs to enter the country and more of them will return again and again.

On12 Aug I gave following update-- "Since Passport process is automated, promote youths to establish typing counters at banks/ post offices, where they can help citizens to enter & manage applications for a small fee. This is an implemented practice in UAE". Today's new that this is started in Post offices. Great that some others also think in same direction. Great minds think alike!! Thanks to all. Pl consider my other suggestions of 12 Aug also.
