e-Mandi is the solution. We need to create a real time market in a server where businessmen/consumers can buy products and thus a price is decided as the share market operates. Farmers can register their mobile number in the database through a govt appointed local volunteer/employee. Real time prices will be sent via sms to farmers. If the farmer wishes to supply, he can confirm supply to nearest godown from where the supplies are taken at economic intervals and supplied to the customer.

Install a computer with interned connection at a public place In each and every village of the country. The touch screen interface should be easy to use and pictorial and audio-visual, so that even the illiterate people can access that. The computer would connect them to a team of experts, who will suggest them ways to solve there problems. Arrangements should be made so that farmers across the country can network among themselves and discuss various issues.

I'am an Computer Engineering student i will like to develop a webportal or app that will provide information regarding following issues: 1)Videos providing information on Modern agriculture techniques to the farmers 2)Global agriculture products cost trends 3)Online buying and selling between farmer & consumer which will prove benificial for farmer to sell their goods in proper price & consumer will know the cost of every food product in 1click.Only thing i will require is data from goverment

1) classes on Govt schools for farmers in the evening by agricultural experts 2) Agro-Centers with toll-free numbers and 24*7 support will encourage farmers to use the facility. 3) Quarterly Meetings can be held where the farmers can share their success stories to other farmers which the achieved by the usage of technologies / effective methods of farming 4) Natural pesticides / Natural Manure can be provided for free by the government and encourage and teach farmers to prepare them and use.

First of all most of our farmers don't know about the facilities given by government, So in order to educate them provide some subsidized mobiles which is well equipped to provide proper information about agriculture, facilities given by government, e-banking etc., There should be a full information about which soil is suitable for particular product and which fertilizers to be used in what quantity. If we integrate all these information in these subsidized mobile then it will be very useful.
