under ground drainage facilities should be provided in rural and urban areas to free the people from sufferings open defecation.

In cities toilets can construct in public private partnerships, in rural areas govt. should provide subsidy or free supply of sanitartion materials and it is better to divert present MGNREGS scheme to construct septic tanks apart from other activities. Every village should assure water supply facilities to achieve this and public awareness camps should conduct to educate about problems of open defecation apart from health point of view, in social living standards of women and children.

In a country where people (males) prefer to urinate in open & females keep searching for a place to ease themselves(because toilets meant for them are dirty & not usable.It is a difficult task to inculcate the habit of using toilets in proper way so that the same can be used by somebody after them.So again my point is back to educating the masses about the benefits of using toilets. To build toilets is easy than maintaining it. If we charge fee for using the toilet, people will stop using it

make automated toilet facility where maintance should be no problem . i have seen toilets where after using it automatically flush we can create those type of toliets even increase tissue paper use rather keeping water which people dont use in a proper manner and they waiste for tissue paper keep big bucket inside so people can throw inside and after some time truck can come n collect that garabge .

May be included as an eligible CSR activity for the corporates with higher fiscal incentive. Number of public rest-rooms be increased exponentially with the facility being made free for users. Public toilets should have plastic taps & bins to void theft. When a toilet is built in markets,stations etc, after few months taps are theft from such places. It is a lost to public property. Thieves sell the taps in scrap & utilize the money (its common seen & all ignore this). Same happens with the fencing & railings in public markets & parks. Normally youngsters at night cut the metal of railings, street lights & destroy public property. They sell the metal & get money in exchange.
