Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

I think for any smart city energy is a big concern.Since now a lot of new buildings would come up, I feel most of those buildings should have solar panels installed to make the city energy sufficient or maybe even surplus.Moreover Led bulbs could be used.

Install solar panel on rooftop of vehicles. At parking make a metallic lane on street so that it works as +ve and -ve terminals for the solar panel. A provision, when a person parks his car and give a command so that a metallic strip from his vehicle touches the metallic lane and completes the circuit. These are connected with solar cells who gets charged

I have some suggestion to make bilaspur better to live and to make among the top 10 of smart city (1)CLEANINESS - door to door collection of garbage by pick up vehicle ,(which is practising well in most of major cities) (2)Improve quality of road by good technich and central line/zebra/ directional marking of roads (3)Make chauraha encoarchment free to pass traffic freely in peak hours (4)increse network line to new area and reduce the number of personal bore/well by law and rules

A separate building for fruits and vegetable vendors, on rental. No street side selling should be allowed.

Pl use electric buses for public transportation for zero emission. The invention was made by an Indian and won 2nd prize in IEEE ITEC-2015 International conference. METRO on Road with rubber wheel. This is published by SAE International : papers.sae.org/2015-28-0069. This will make DTC buses Electric and zero pollution. Developed counties also need this technology. Govt coordination needed.

AN AUTONAGAR MUST BE ESTABLISHED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS AND ALL OLD SPARE PART SHOPS IN PUDUPET AND KOMALEESWARENPET MUST BE SHIFTED THERE.THEY ARE POLLUTING THE AREA BY BREAKING OLD VEHICLES, BURNING WIRES,DISPLAYING OLD PARTS OUTSIDE SHOPS ON PLATFORMS,PARKING OLD CONDEMNED VEHICLES ON THE ROAD
