Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

first establish slum development team in every ward and provide good garbage collection facility. concentrate, it is so far from development provide wider road facility. most of the works are political influenced not getting 10 percent quality and causes more damage to the city. link bus metro and emu with good connection. and single usage card.

(1)Roads must be improved. (2)Underground drainage must be improved. (3)Filter water must be supplied. (4)Government hospitals must be improved. (5)International airport must be made. (6)Railway station must be improved.

Use Bio-disposers to dispose kitchen / bio-degradable waste directly to sewer network.

most important thing is to reduce the pollution in the city, for that plantation should be done not only gov. but citizens should also take responsibility.& roads should be widened to improve traffic problems

Buses and bus stops should have GPS systems fitted so that the time of arrival and location of the bus can be known. Also smart cards can be used for travel in buses such as metro rail systems.

If we create roads such that it absorbs water , then we can achieve following things: 1. Avoid water logging 2. Increase ground water level 3. Increase life of roads 4. Improve city temperature 5. Clean rivers
