Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Plantation of trees and plant many Dustbins in the City. Ban on tobacco. Well cleaned, sanitized washrooms. Posters , pamphlet distribution on the road should be banned.

AN AUTONAGAR MUST BE ESTABLISHED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS AND ALL OLD SPARE PART SHOPS IN PUDUPET AND KOMALEESWARENPET MUST BE SHIFTED THERE.THEY ARE POLLUTING THE AREA BY BREAKING OLD VEHICLES, BURNING WIRES,DISPLAYING OLD PARTS OUTSIDE SHOPS ON PLATFORMS,PARKING OLD CONDEMNED VEHICLES ON THE ROAD

*promote girl child education *women safety and employment should be increased *computers should be installed in schools so that children are made computer literate in era of e-commere *educating all about causes and effects of regional widespread diseases & how to prevent them. *at least one subsidised hospital service in area of 50kms

I wish to propose 3 major proposals for smart cities 1. Energy saving - All street lights, traffic signals, police booths, common toilets etc can be powered from solar energy. We have lot of options for this in solar, I m working as an engineering

1.Model school with agriculture and Cleanliness a part of curriculum 2.Goshaalas for White Revolution 3.Agricultural Clinic for Green Revolution 4.House for all with Water,Electricity and Sanitary Toilets 5.Active and Parcipatory Khadhi Gramudyog Bhavan spreading message of Gandhiji 6.Mohulla Sabhas for participatory democracy at ground level. 7.Employment for all

Road well connected with nearest town. Drinking water facility for the village. Toilet, Drainage, ground water collection facility. school, Hospital, library, water pond if already available do develop. Near by dobiwala, Mechanical, electrical, electronic shop who can sell as well as repair. These are essentials. We will add more to the list

Bilaspur must be connected through well network of railway, 4/6 lane highways and with an international airport
