Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Under the leadership of corporation commissioner, a committee has to be formed to implement GIS Application comprising Roads, EB lines,Telephone Lines,Storm water drainage canal, water and sewerage pipelines to avoid unnecessary digging of roads by other agencies. The committee may be comprised with Chairman of EB,CGM of BSNL,MD of Metrowater.The implementation work may be given to the top 5 IT companies to develop and to maintain to safeguard govt assets and for efficient administration

Even small area of Bilaspur should be very cleaned and evergreen. There is a requirement to more IT companies to open their delivery center in Bilaspur for a job opportunities and consistent & fast growth

Education: should be included Smart and Virtual Class, Educational Software, Learning with Tablet P.C., Games and quality education. Health: IMR, MMR, Institutional Delivery, Vaccination, HB as per WHO criteria, Nutritional Programme, Employment Life Style and Standard of Living Clean Drinking Water Toilet Block facilities

Well facilitate schools with competent teachers & mentors because education is must to develop villages. If i take example of my village most of the students are migrate from village for their study & those are not financially strong they face the problems. Even I am out of my village from last 14 years for my study & now for the work. So it is must for the development of villages that we have good schools & competent gurus to develop unskilled human resource into a highly competent resources.
