Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

n my view following facilities are important . 1) public toilets 2) open space (green land with trees) 3)Drinking water (filtered) 4) shared net facility with library 5) Good maintained road with transport facilities. 6) bank with ATM facility 7) 24 hrs electricity 8) school equipped with facilities 9) social and sports club with facilities 10) high street with all necessary shops. 11) Hospital with decent facility 12) managed with transparent, honest leader .

1.there must be greenery everywhere near houses. 2. Electric supply should be 24*7 3. traffic signal is required. 4. cctv camera is necessary .

Sir I think for any smart city energy is a big concern.Since now a lot of new buildings would come up, I feel most of those buildings should have solar panels installed to make the city energy sufficient or maybe even surplus.Moreover led bulbs could be used.

Free and coin-operated toilet facilities should available throughout the local area. The National Public Toilet Map can also provide locations right across the city

city should have a great variety of community venues available for hire. They include rooms, halls and auditoriums that are suitable for either community meetings, conferences, functions or weddings.

We must plans big water treatment plants to save water .We must good waste treatment plant to dispose garbage .
