Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Usage of "Solar Energy" Cleaning of all "gatter" at regular interval Medical/"Emergency lane" on every highway. Cleaning campaign at every school/college for 1 hour in every week.

सभी सिटी बस ऑटो आदि सिर्फ निर्धारित स्टैंड पर ही खड़े होना चाहिए चौराहे जैसे घमापुर,दमोहनाका, रेलवेस्टैंड, अधारताल ,रांझी में ऑटो बहुत गलत ढग से खड़े होते है इन पर नियत्रण आवश्यक है

अतिक्रमण और सड़क चौड़ीकरण और व्यवस्थित पार्किंग व्यवस्था होना चाहिए।

Time punching should be made mandate in all Govt and Civic bodies. Also Complaint redressal and tracking/resolution should be made online.

Water & Electricity at each door step. 2) "Water harvesting" by every citizen to increase water level - A MUST FOR EVERY Bilaspurians. 3) "Cleaning our ward" by all citizens in every ward on every sunday. 4) "Plantation" at every street in all 100 wards. 5) Usage of "Solar Energy" 6) Cleaning of all "gatter" at regular interval 7) Medical/"Emergency lane" on every highway. 8) Cleaning campaign at every school/college for 1 hour in every week.

Connect remote and peripherial parts of the town with frequent Green Transport like Tram. Introduce Waiting time Display board at each stops, GPS tracking for route information.

For any city to be smart there is need of smart waste management...as we all have experienced that in indian railways coaches it is written do not litter outside but at the same time there is no dustbin in the coaches ....so my suggestion is that in a smart city there should be dustbins alongside the ways and roads....not only that there should be some authority to manage those dustbins...
