Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

A metro rail is the need of the hour so that more people can use that instead of using more private vehicles.

We should develop a website. One stop portal for consumer needs. - Site should show corporation current activities about city infrastructure - Consumer feedback - Perhaps link to external websites that gives detailed information to avail Ration card, Voter ID, License, Aadhar.

A smart city should have no slums! There should be targets in place for making city free of slum
