Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Smart cities is not only using technology to solve problems, but about enabling people to become smart citizens, to make smart decisions. A good PR campaign involving kids would be effective.

Smart city means security, maintenance, proper arrangement, traffic rules. The more it develops the better it is.

The solar panels should be installed on the roof top of all possible public places like bus stand, railway station, Corporation office, All government offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, bus stand, railway station, airport, private building, street lights etc. places. The same buildings/places should consume the electricity generated on their roof-top
