Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

1. Convert all buses in to Hybrid Eco friendly to control the pollution 2. Provide ring roads to connect near by cities 3. Bride new railway tracks to connect more cities 4. Shift all the foundries form city to rural 5. Connect the cities with new bridges

It is better to convert all diesel engine autorickshaws to run on alternate fuel like LPG

Today’s child,tomorrows Citizen.So we have to educate children in smartcity mission.It will help them to grow in good platform and become good citizens.Smart city should plan to provide pure water,Air,Protein RichFood;Good Shelter,to citizen.Well equipped Transport with good drainage system should have save the life and time of citizen.The main mission should be imparting peaceful life to citizen. It should give importance to fill generation gap. Installing E-Administration helps to work in home

1. Solar street lights should be implemented 2. Cleanliness of city should be improved. 3. Pedestrian pathways and cycling pathways should be developed
