Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Along with development of old cities into a smart city there is also the need of hours to develop and adopt a model code for development of new cities Pan India for continuous pace of Smart Development.

While urban planners design sustainable cities with improved access for cyclists and walkers, their plans often leave out a major city minority -- the disabled.

5. Water supply is always suffering from Drought. 6. Our leaders should be reviewed by PM for the progress.

Govt should focus on; 1. Teach discipline to citizens as they are undisciplined, Still you are trying hard. 2. tree plantation, as abad is having very less trees in the city.

As the city stands for its rich historical and cultural heritage efforts should be made in order to develop these places and thus attaract international tourists . The roads here are in terrible condition. Sanitation has very little place in the city. In spite of this, waste management, cleanliness, traffic should be held high during the smart city campaign. We all look forward for a cleaner greener bilaspur . And of course a smarter one !!

For bilaspur Crime free city should be the first priority. advanced garbage management system strictly needed. footpath, Tree plantation, proper and good durability roads. Good Traffic System, Street lights, one way roads, Solar Panel in every office, house and Shops. Friendly Police booths, Strict Administration to control goons.
