Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Merging Transport links: As in Europe, Airport, Railway station, bus station and Metro should be interconnected via various options. If you arrive at Airport and Railway Station, Only transport mode is taxi and auto. Also Airport and railway station are not linked.

n respect to smart city, people safety and security specially to woman should be given high priority.CCTV camara should be fixed at all the points from entrance of city to exit of city, which should be constantly monitored. smart city should be trade,sercives and business oriented, NO industries which make pollution, should be sanctioned within the limit of 25 kms of the city. The city should be completely with trees and plants,it should be pollution free, The people should feel like heaven
