Sir Our democracy is great. But after 70 long years we are still following the same pattern. Any suggestion for change may have resistance. Thought process will continue. May I propose direct election for the head of our Local self Govts.,ie President of Local Panchayat, Municipalities and Corporation should be elected directly by the whole people of that Local Body, keeping all other formalities as on now.
