I think there is potentially a big win if Govt disengages in buying the land from the farmer and further selling it to businessman and start acting more like planners and let the economics work out buying and selling along with economic driven pricing. Sir, The railways need urgent up-gradation. Like the plan to increase domestic gas prices, rail fares may be increased every year by 5%, so that they do not cause burden. Also, doubling and quadrupling of tracks would also help, since there are always more passengers than our trains can carry. Also, like some of the corridors for high speed, all the tracks should be upgraded for higher speeds, since it is now need of the hour to increase the average speeds of all the trains! Thank you.
