Dear Sir,
Water water everywhere but not single drop to drink. This is the story of water management in India despite building so many dams. Cauvery, Ganga, Yamuna and many other rivers drying up. Only solution is traditional decentralized water management. We need to build in war footing many natural and artificial lakes/barrages/ponds/tanks in each village and in upstream, glaciers, forests. So that water feeds river & wells 365 days. Wherever possible dams should be discarded.
