Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Sir I would like to share a suggestion as how we can get rid of plastic pollution which is one of the responsible factors for climate change. The approach is reuse rather than produce. Method 1 - If we return the used plastic bottles /pouch packets / wrappers of coconut oil, edible oils, shampoos, biscuits , cakes etc. to grocery store / shopping malls and instead get a discount on the same product when purchased, this will lead to saving in production cost of new plastic packaging and the old products will be recycled. Method 2 - If government announces a reward, say Rupees 5/kg of plastic collected, I guess people will gladly accept it as an easy way to earn a few bucks. These collected plastics can be segregated according to the type of products and company persons can collect it accordingly. The advantage is centralized collection of plastics against distributed collection in Method 1
