आदरणीय प्रधानमन्त्रीजी, सादर हरिस्मरण। आज आपको सुझाव देना चाहूंगा कि भारत को "सनातन राष्ट्र" घोषित कर देना चाहिए, इससे कई लाभ होंगे। धर्म, जाति, भाषा और संस्कृति के आधार पर देखें तो भारत में अनेकों समुदाय हैं। इस दृष्टि से तो अनेकों राष्ट्र हैं। 1947 में देश का बंटवारा सेकूलर भारत और मुस्लिम राष्ट्र पाकिस्तान के रूप में हुआ। धर्मनिरपेक्ष भारत में हिंदू, मुस्लिम, सिख, ईसाई, बौद्ध, जैन और अन्य अनेकों समुदाय हैं। ये सब लोग अपने अपने राष्ट्र की मांग करने लगें तो भारत में एकता और अखंडता भला कैसे रह पाएगी? आदरणीय प्रधानमन्त्रीजी, आज देशभर में भारत को "हिंदू राष्ट्र" बनाने का जो भावनात्मक उफान चल रहा है, वो हकीकत में संभव नहीं है। इससे देश भयंकर गृहयुद्ध और लम्बे समय तक के लिए हिंसा और अशांति की ओर चला जाएगा। इस समस्या का एक ही हल है कि भारतीय संसद द्वारा बहुमत से प्रस्ताव पास कराकर "सनातन राष्ट्र" शब्द संविधान की किताब में जोडा़ जाए। राष्ट्रवाद भारत की सनातन विचारधारा और संकल्पना है। हम चाहे हिंदू, मुस्लिम, सिख, ईसाई कुछ भी क्यों न हों, लेकिन हम सब भारतवासी सनातनी हैं। जयहिंद।

Respected Modi Ji, The Ministry of Home Affairs having reportedly stated in the Parliament that the current police-public ratio in the country stood at 152.80 per lakh persons. While the state with the highest number of police personnel was stated to be Nagaland, with around 1189.33 police personnel per lakh of population but as against this, Bihar recorded the lowest police-public ratio, with only 75.16 police personnel per lakh of the population followed by West Bengal (97.66) and Rajasthan (120.39). Sadly, the relevant position in respect of other states also remains quite worrisome. Sir, My humble request is to bridge the current gap between the cops' sanctioned and actual strength, representing not so encouraging police-public ratio. Sir, Doing so may usher in some better sense of security among the general masses amidst the usual claim of the general shortage of police personnel at ground zero. Kindly use your good offices in coming to their much needed rescue.Thanks a lot.
