Dear Sir, I had submitted my suggestions to CM office Maharashtra & copy to PMO regarding procedure to decide the rates for the redevelopment of tenanted buildings where tenants have been staying for several decades. suggestions were submitted on 21st October, 2024 just before Maharashtra Elections. Respected PM ji, I have 3 suggestions as I noticed some short falls in my recent tour to MP but same is equally applicable at other places since situation can be no different. 1) Pilgrimage places where area is very large, toilet facilities should be very good. I visited Ujjain last week but in the whole large campus there is only one urinal outside temple but no toilet which leads to very difficult situation especially for old people and even to others. Clean toilets should be installed close to temple at more tha one place. 2) I had an opportunity to visit Nepal in March 2024 and noticed at one Shiva temple which was at height not less than 3 to 4 story building, they had provided lift in addition to staircase. Lift was chargeable for all and free for people above 70 years. This was really useful for handicap, old, people. 3) I visited Rani Roopmati palace at Mandu which is very high. Some transport arrangement like E Rikshaw etc should be provided on chargable basis.
